Behind the Scenes

A look behind the scenes in the making of
my Crushed Can art. Shown here are the finished
cans being glued to the risers and made ready for framing.
(The cans are under the boards and bricks.)

Brown Dog Running Fast

Each Crush Can work of art is created using
acrylic paints and a small paintbrush.

Man on a Can

This Crushed Can art was painted in 2003.

On every can I paint I write my initials
and the year it was painted. On this one you
can read on the bottom, right-hand side: "CK03".

Yellow Dog with Orange Spots

When this can was crushed it flattened into a unique
shape. When creating crushed can art one not only creates a
one-of-a-kind work of art, but also has a one-of-a-kind
canvas to work with.
There no two crushed can paintings that are alike.
